I’ve had over 30 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Patients tell me I am a good listener, very empathic, have a good sense of humor, and excel at creating a safe space in my office. I enjoy the work my patients and I do together in discovering how they can make changes to bring fulfillment and meaning into their lives: personally, socially and professionally.
My areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, illness and loss, relationship problems, intergenerational conflicts, and difficulties at work. I help patients to develop a better sense of self and increased confidence; good communication skills; and recognition of what is important to them.
I am a BCD graduate Columbia University School of Social Work; Chair, Ethics and By-Laws Committee, Association of Psychoanalytic Self-Psychology (APSP); Board of Directors, New Alternatives for Children (NAC); Founding Member, Board of Volunteers, NAC; Board Certified Diplomat, New York State Society of Clinical Social Workers (NYSSCSW); Member, National Association of Social Workers (NASW); Private Practice, New York City.
